Our first resort, nestled in the beautiful Afan Valley, will offer a unique combination of adventure and wellbeing experiences set against panoramic views of the South Wales Valleys.
About
Dramatically placed, Wildfox Resorts Afan Valley will create a hub of adventure activity at scale and strengthen South Wales’ visitor destination economy, building upon existing world-class attractions.
Following planning consent in November 2022, the team have begun work on site to prepare the ground for construction.
The socio-economic opportunities are transformational, creating over 1,000 jobs in construction and 1,000 in operation.
There are considerable supply chain benefits, with an ambition to initiate a training academy and distribute visitors to wider Wales to drive genuine, lasting social value which prioritises health and wellbeing.

Location
The Afan Valley resort is located 7 miles North East of Port Talbot, nestled in between the communities of Cymmer, Caerau, Croeserw and Duffryn Rhondda.
Situated above the River Afan, the site is 20 minutes’ drive northeast of the M4 motorway at Junction 40 and Port Talbot mainline rail station (including direct trains from London).
